TITLE:
Dermatology Product Director- Clinical, R&D (More clinical role – experience with R&D and Medical Affairs)

Multi-Billion Dollar Diversified Medical Technology Company

DESCRIPTION:

The Product Director, is accountable for working with the marketing team to optimize product performance and lead key elements of the scientific strategy.  This role includes, but is not limited to, label expansion strategies, clinical development strategies and publication plans, key opinion leader education and development, and professional society liaison.  In addition, this position will work on various aspects of professional marketing for product line such as message refinement, marketing mix, and marketing analytics.

  • Partner to develop aligned objectives and execution of a medical education strategy.
  • Primary brand lead within the overall product publication planning team.
  • Develop and execute an integrated data display plan.
  • Develop and implement a key opinion leader strategy for product line.
  • Become a key brand contact for professional medical societies.
  • Effectively manage program budgets and conduct return on investment analysis for key areas of responsibility.
  • Lead strategic refinement and execution of the re-launch of product line.
  • Assess brand marketing mix and brand analytics.
  • Provide leadership during development of strategic plan and integrated business plan.
  • Actively partner to measure business performance and manage forecast attainment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other related advanced degree a plus.
  • A minimum of 7 years of successful and progressive experience in sales, marketing or related field required.
  • Healthcare industry experience required.
  • Sales experience preferred.
  • Previous marketing experience required; preferably with in-line marketing experience in more than one therapeutic area.
  • Experience working with / partnering with Medical Affairs and R&D organizations highly preferred.
  • Must be innovative, proactive, and strong analytically with excellent overall business acumen. 
  • Must be capable of managing and prioritizing multiple priorities.
  • Must demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills. 
  • Ideal candidate will thrive in high-growth, dynamic marketplace. 
  • Up to 20% domestic travel required.
