TITLE:
Dermatology Product Director

LOCATION:
Northern Outskirts of Philadelphia

CLIENT:
Subsidiary of a multibillion dollar, 100 year old manufacturing organization

DESCRIPTION:

The Product Director, is accountable for working with the marketing team to optimize product performance and to lead key elements of brand strategies.  This role includes, but is not limited to, competitive market and landscape assessments, advisory board development, risk evaluation and mitigation strategy program oversight, and assessing emerging technologies for innovative program development.  In addition, this position will work on various aspects of professional marketing for the product line such as message refinement, marketing mix, and marketing analytics.

  • Partner to develop aligned objectives and execution of a medical education strategy.
  • Develop and execute an integrated advisory board plan.
  • Primary brand lead for competitive intelligence group. Evaluate market and competitive landscape to isolate emerging trends, new market opportunities, and ensure strategic alignment with evolving landscape.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and seek out opportunities to innovate marketing mix.
  • Effectively manage program budgets and conduct return on investment analysis for key areas of responsibility.
  • Assess brand marketing mix and brand analytics.
  • Provide leadership during development of strategic plan and integrated business plan.
  • Actively partner to measure business performance and manage forecast attainment.
  • Partner with academic team to lead development and integration of product strategies for academic, community hospitals, and DOD.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other related advanced degree a plus.
  • A minimum of 7 years of successful and progressive experience in sales, marketing or related field required.
  • Healthcare industry experience required.
  • Sales experience preferred.
  • Previous marketing experience required; preferably with in-line marketing experience in more than one therapeutic area.
  • Must be innovative, proactive, and strong analytically with excellent overall business acumen. 
  • Must be capable of managing and prioritizing multiple priorities. 
  • Must demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills. 
  • Ideal candidate will thrive in high-growth, dynamic marketplace. 
  • Up to 20% domestic travel required.
