VP Consumer Marketing - Entertainment Business

$5B+ Technology Manufacturer

DESCRIPTION:
To lead, direct, design, and execute the marketing of client’s Entertainment Business by driving the marketing strategy, development, and implementation.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors.
  • Develop pricing strategies, balancing consumer needs, competitive considerations, and profitability.
  • Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote the Entertainment Business.
  • Develop and coordinate demand generation activities including but not limited to POP, advertising, internet, email, and social media
  • Develop and implement consumer offer roadmap to continue to expand product offerings
  • Own market sizing, prioritization, and location strategy
  • Initiate market research studies and analyze their findings.
  • Consult with merchandising team to gain advice regarding the types of products or services expected to be in demand.
  • Conduct economic and commercial surveys to identify potential markets
  • Advise business and other groups on local, national, and international factors affecting the buying and selling of products and services.

Basic Requirements

  • Collaborative, team based leader
  • Comfortable working cross functionally to execute on key initiatives
  • Operational expertise with experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives and employing analytical data to drive feedback and decision making
  • Desire to work in fast-paced entrepreneurial environment and balance structure process with speed
  • 8+ years experience in retail or on-line retail marketing
  • Undergraduate Degree (BA/BS), MBA preferred
  • Willing to travel (10-20%)
