The proper candidate must come out of payment solutions/eCommerce/mobile banking solutions.
Although a Director title, job is actually individual contributor role, but will manage the activities of 2 people on the marketing team as a team leader. Key for fill on this is someone who knows these markets, and can dig in and do market analysis by region and country, and create merged channels and defined messaging out of what is currently multiple types of marketing materials being used by various sales teams. Goal is to create more consistent branding/messaging around financial solutions. Will require global background and cultural awareness.
Reporting to VP Financial Solutions Marketing.
Position Summary
As part of the Financial line of business and Solutions Marketing team this role will drive the research, strategy development and marketing communication for the Merged Channels globally. Merged channels consists of Payment solutions, E-commerce and Mobile Banking solutions.
The individual will be responsible for these activities:
• Market analysis by region, country.
• Capture and prioritize customer, channel, geography and industry requirements. Define relative importance of price, performance, services and software mix to create competitive, differentiated offers and establishing a Market requirements document
• Lead the development of the Merged Channels strategy, offer definition through the ideation process leveraging insight and guidance from key stakeholders (Sales, Solutions Management, Regional Deployment team etc).
• Identify key partners, alliances, integrators and acquisition targets to grow within our current markets.
• Driving definition and deployment of marketing campaigns and programs to support share and revenue growth in the portfolio
• Develop strong relationship with key internal stakeholders (across functions and industries) and also external partners and analysts
• Create the solution offers for Financial Solutions's channels (direct and indirect) and determine market positioning. Attributes of the offer include:
o Value proposition & Business Impact Models
o Marketing materials
o Pricing strategy
o Competitive positioning
o Training and sales support
o Sales programs to keep the salesperson and the customer engaged
o Segment the offers to create market, wallet and mind share.
• Identify the media communication plan, channels and messaging to each channel
• Create insight from the funnel metrics and institute the appropriate action to achieve revenue plans, shape revenue and take market share.
• Manage solutions and image within the EBC, increase customer volume
• Analyze competitors in this vertical, i.e. understand their profit pools and approach to the market; identify necessary improvements to be more competitive; provide our sales people the tools to beat the competition.
• Explore new adjacencies where Financial Solutions can expand higher and wider in our targeted accounts.
