PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, the Organizational Development Manager is responsible for the development, management and execution of policies, programs, and procedures related to talent management strategies and building a high performance culture.  Additional responsibilities include process ownership for performance management, succession planning, selection and assessment, goal deployment and training and development.  The role will also facilitate implementation of appropriate change management initiatives associated with company’s goals and objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Leads the process of organizational planning that evaluates and manages company structure, succession planning, culture, employee development and training programs.
  • Oversees and administers targeted development programs for high potential individuals within the organization.
  • Performance management process owner. Reviews and monitors results, assists with compensation analysis and market competitiveness.
  • Aligns overall development programs to company vision and goals.
  • Collaborates with others within the organization to identify gaps in training, planning, performance and efficiency.
  • Defines career paths within the organization and assists employees with owning and managing their career goals and expectations.
  • Analysis of program success and implementation to insure improvements to organizational performance are met.
  • Capable of leading large scale change management activities
  • Ability to lead others and manage time effectively.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:

  • Education - BA/BS degree required, Masters in Organizational Development preferred
  • Experience - 5-7 years of experience in developing, facilitating and execution of training and development programs based upon competency based models; experience in succession planning, organizational design and development, change management, and developing high performance work teams
  • Competencies - Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment and have strong interpersonal and written communication skills; goal and deadline focused, results driven with an ability to be a strong team player
    Travel - Ability to travel up to 25%
