DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities of Position

This key senior executive will provide leadership in defining the strategy and executing short and long range plans to achieve the sales objectives of the WAS division.  

This executive will plan and execute a comprehensive strategy and business plan that maximizes WAS sales opportunities across all solutions and product lines.

Provide strong leadership throughout the entire sales function to approximately 170 employees in sales, pre-sales, sales operations. Contribute to all aspects of product, sales and technology strategy formulation and execution.

Build and strengthen relationships with customers, expand existing and establishing necessary strategic partnerships, alliances and joint ventures to optimize growth. 

Play a strong and active role in leading the WAS senior global management team to execute business objectives. Model strong leadership behaviors, and lead by personal professional example.

Participate as a member of the Company’s Executive Management team.

Identify, recruit, develop and retain superior performers and hold subordinates accountable for the same standards in talent management.

Identify appropriate changes in the organization, business operations and management practices while sustaining the company’s over-all unique culture.

Direct and participate in the planning process for future development and growth of the business, periodically present such plans for general review and approval by the President and CEO.

Participate in M&A activities.

Skills and Experience:

  • At least 10 years of demonstrated success in a senior sales management role with a leading technology company and experience successfully teaming with service, development & support functions at senior organizational levels.  
  • Has successfully managed a significant ($500m) software based solutions sales team with a strong background in driving revenue growth plans and their successful execution.
  • Highly strategic with a track record of growing profitable sales and business development relationships.
  • Strong business acumen and demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding revenue and profit targets with experience selling both directly and indirectly through partners and channels.
  • Strategic thinker with the demonstrated ability to provide a vision and rally a sales team in support.
  • Prior experience working in a global company, keen business acumen and executive level interfacing both internally and with customers and partners.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, coach, mentor, and develop staff. 
  • Strong communication skills and executive presence. 
  • Strong personal integrity and professional values aligned ethics are required.
  • Experience with contact center and back office technology solutions is preferred.
  • Business undergraduate degree, with an MBA preferred
